France into Spain

We haven't been bothered by rain but it is still overcast and we are starting to miss the sun. I never thought I would say that, having fair skin and always trying to avoid the sun back in Australia. We are much further down the French coast now at L'Homy Plage and the beach is pretty similar with long stretches of white sand uninterupted by headlands and wild surf (see warning sign inset). The towns and set back quite a long way behind the high dunes. The large car parks indicate it is a very popular place in summer even though it is completely deserted in March. We stopped for lunch and a short beach walk before continuing along the coast.
